May has been such an awesome month for me (in terms of music releases o.o) To start off, I opened up the month with シド's latest single 『嘘』. If I remember correctly it's the ending song for the new season of FMA that started airing recently. It was even on the CM ^^ Don't ask why I know these things but have no way to watch Japanese television. I just know. I'm magic like that.

Now, on to something that actually came out THIS month -- ナイトメア's majestical parade. I'm not even that huge a ナイトメア fan, but I tried it out and...I gotta say, it went above and beyond my expectations musically. I won't even talk about the grammar in "majestical parade". I'll be lenient, English isn't their first language and the awkward, incorrect grammar may have been intentional and I just can't grasp how deep ナイトメア got when they came up with it.




It's off subject, but I still think YOMI (the vocalist) is hilariously adorable, but it's only hilarious because he's so small and cute and his voice and the genre are anything but >.< It'd be the equivalent of me doing screamo death metal...just...funny to see.

Moving back to things that came out this month, Eminem's Relapse came out...and I haven't heard it yet >.< Speaking of things I haven't heard, abingdon boys school finally released JAP (a single) after it was pushed back from its initial March (I think o.o) release date.


I like the video, Nishi's microphone was all glowy again and he wore the sexy glasses ^^ And he had the lil towel thing hangin outta his booty pocket >.< Ahhh, he's too adorable to me. Of course you don't get as good visuals of Kishi, Shiba, and SUNAO as you do of Nishi -- as always. But I'm sure with the next 300 times I see the video I'll catch them...



I also heard a.b.s. is going to be in the Inazuma Rock Festival...or at least I think that's what it was called. I can't go, so there's no need to get excited >.>

ゾロ's first PV collection 「NISHIKI」 is set to release Wednesday of next week and I for one (zettai!) CANNOT WAIT. I'd go ahead and buy it now but I don't have money to spend on it @.@ I hope the PV for PINK is on there, I love that song but can never find the PV to watch it. KITSUNE's PV is good and all and Ryuuji doing his ADORABLE booty shaking dance is funny but I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be able to see PINK. I've only seen it once and I don't even remember what they were wearing @.@ I only vaguely remember Ryuuji in a blue and white jacket. Don't remember Tapi, Yuuya, or Taizo at all...and that's bad when I don't remember Taizo, cause he's super foine @.@



 
Again, off topic (sort of, DMC does revolve around music ^^) I just noticed that the Detroit Metal City live action movie is on MySoju and has been for a whole month. I'd rather finish watching the OVA (the artwork alone is sometimes so bad its HILARIOUS), but this will do. I've seen maybe 20 minutes of the movies or so and it's had me laughing. Never heard of the guy playing Negishi before, but he's good at it >.< I've read up to like chapter 51 in the manga and the movie doesn't stray far from what's in the manga at all.

That rap battle between Negi and Kiva was just...I was trying to hold my laughter in but I just couldn't. I don't know if it was the Engrish, the absolute lack of flow in either one of them, or something else, but it was just TOO funny not to laugh.


OH YEAH! Mao's Room is on 5.29.2009 at 10 PM Central!!!!!!!! w00t.
